Tideward Command

Tideward Command is a proper thinker. You manage island outposts, ferry supplies between them, and defend against tides — both the literal ocean and rival fleets. Every turn is a small logistics puzzle, and the game trusts you to make mistakes and learn from them.

What sets it apart is the honesty of its systems. Nothing is hidden behind a paywall wall, and the tutorial actually teaches instead of holding your hand forever. The difficulty ramps steadily, and by the fifth map I was drawing little supply diagrams in my head before I even opened the app.

It asks for patience. If you want fast action this isn't it. But if you like slow, satisfying planning where a good decision three turns ago pays off later, Tideward Command earns your attention.
