Hollow Lantern
Hollow Lantern is the game I keep recommending to people who think they don't like mobile games. It's a slow adventure through a fog-wrapped town where you explore, talk to strange residents, and slowly piece together what happened here. Nothing rushes you.
The controls are simple — tap to move, tap to interact — but the atmosphere does the heavy lifting. Ambient sound, muted colors, a soundtrack that knows when to go silent. I played most of it with headphones late at night and it got under my skin in the best way.
There are light puzzles woven into the story, none of them frustrating, all of them tied to the place. It's short, maybe five hours, but it's the kind of short that feels complete. I finished it and just sat there for a minute, which almost never happens with a phone game.
